Condition
The vase is in good condition with the exception of two shallow flakes (2 and 1cm., wide) to the inner edge of the rim, a hairline body crack extending 34cm., around the shoulder, splitting and extending 6cm., at one end and again diagonally 20cm., down the body towards the foot. It should be noted that the blue is of a slightly more brilliant tone than the catalogue illustration would suggest.
