Description
- porcelain
each in the form of a recumbent ram, detailed with underglaze-blue eyes, horns and fur, all supported on three short feet
Condition
The pair of dishes are in good condition with the exception of characteristic fritting to the extremities, one dish with a glaze line across one horn, the other with a chip to the tip of a horn, and light glaze scratches. It should be noted that the blue is of a slightly less purple-blue tone than the catalogue illustration would suggest.
