of rectangular form with canted corners and supported on four lingzhi feet, densely carved and undercut with a scene of figures engaged in leisurely pursuits in a bustling city with pavilions and trees, the interior divided into compartments with various sewing components
Condition
This finely carved work box and stand are in very good condition with the exception of slight movement of the two central panels on the cover, the base of the removeable tray has become partially detached and the key is missing.
