the tapering ovoid body flanked by a pair of elephant mask handles, the exterior carved in high relief with dragons and chilong leaping from a bed of swirling waves, the domed cover surmounted by a coiled dragon, the stone of a greyish pale celadon tone

Condition

This jade vase and cover is in good condition, but there is an area of the rim that is narrower, where a chip has most likely been polished. There are also minor nicks to the interior rim. There are several flaws running through the vase and cover.
