the beast standing four-square on a rectangular base, the head forward facing with high arched mane and powerful shoulders, covered overall in a rich ochre glaze falling short of the base to reveal the pale buff body

Eskenazi, London, 29th February 1972.

Condition

The boar is in very good condition with the exception of a minor glaze flake to the tip of the nostrils and the side of the mane.
