Description

  • Length: 6 1/4 inches
of irregular section, the steep sides carved with writhing chilong amidst lingzhi and grass, all beneath swirling clouds, the handle formed by a large gnarled lingzhi branch extending from the rooted foot, the stone with areas of gray, brown and white inclusions and russet coloration, wood stand (2)

Condition

There are several natural cracks some running from the rim of the spout to the center noticeably on the interior, the longest approximately 3 inches (7.6 cm), and one natural crack to the side approximately 2 inches (5 cm) long. There are minor scattered nicks to the rim edge. There is a charcoal-gray adhesive on the foot and base of the wood stand. Added russet decoration.
