the vase of oval section with straight sides angled at the shoulder beneath the waisted neck with dragon-scroll handles emerging from a long-tailed phoenix carved in high pierced relief, its head turned to one side with feathered wings and long tail feathers sweeping down to form the base, the domed cover with an oval knop, the stone a gray-green color with white inclusions and added russet coloration, wood stand (3)

Condition

The cover with scattered nicks. The body has three small chips, and a scratch and minor nicks to the rim edge and there is a small chip and some nicks to the tail.
