naturalistically modeled with steep everted sides rising to an irregularly undulating rim, resting on four tapered feet from which emerge lingzhi in high relief, applied overall with a deep and lustrous coral glaze, gilt four-character Qianlong mark, Japanese wood box (2)
Provenance
Acquired in Japan between 1947 and 1952 and thence by descent.
Condition
The condition of the washer is good with only minor wear to the enamel on the rim.
