each well painted in gouache on silk depicting colorful birds either perched or fluttering around lush flowering plants potted with moss,  some with rockwork, in fine examples of Qing dynasty jardinieres, framed (6)

S. Marchant & Son, London, acquired in the 1980s.

Condition

All six paintings each with a few scattered iron-colored specks, otherwise the paintings are in good condition with particularly vibrant and stable pigments.
