portraying a young scholar standing over his seated wife, guiding her as she reads a book, their child by their side listening to the instruction, all beneath a tree growing beside a rock, the back of the rock inscribed with one seal reading Lu Tang

Condition

Several of the tips from the branch are chipped. There are small nicks and a restored chip to the edge of the rockwork. There is a restored split along the side of the man's face. The edge of the base with a small chip and a polished section to the underside. There are three small drilled holes to the base.
