Description

  • Apocryphal Xuande Mark

  • Diameter: 3 5/8 inches
each with rounded bowl rising to an everted rim, supported on a tall solid splayed foot with a flat unglazed base, the exterior in copper-red with the silhouettes of three evenly spaced fish, each inscribed on the interior with an apocryphal six-character Xuande mark in underglaze blue within a double circle, wood stands (4)

Condition

One has a small chip to the rim and a small piece of firing grit to the interior. The other with a body imperfection on the rim with an associated firing line, but overall in good condition.
