each circular bowl with steep flaring sides and a wide everted rim and domed cover, finely decorated with leafy stylized lotus interspersed with archaistic geometric scrolls the exterior of the body with open-winged bats foliage above lappets, all against a turquoise ground, the base with florets against a dark blue ground, the interior gilt, on three cabriole legs (4)
Condition
The feet are later added. There is wear to the gilt, a scratch to the gilt underside of one rim, and the rim with one very small dent. The enamel with expected wear, pitting and small areas of loss. Otherwise, both bowls and covers are in good condition.
