Description
- lacquer
portrayed seated in dhyanasana, with right hand raised and left hand held in dhyanamudra, clad in voluminous robes opened at the chest to reveal tied undergarments, the broad face with downcast eyes and gentle smile, the smooth hair dressed in long tresses looped up under the headband and knotted over each shoulder

Condition
There is an approximately 1 in. (2.5 cm) crack along the hairline to the right side of the figure's face, several long cracks around the collar, neck and back of the head, the longest approximately 4 1/2 in. (11.4 cm) The knotted tressels have cracks, chips and losses. Both sections of the tressels from behind both ears to the hair knot have been restored. The tips of the first and last finger on both hands have chips. The right hand has restored cracks to three fingers. The base and edges have chips and several cracks running from the base to the body noticeably in the front approximately 2 1/2 in. (6.4 cm) long and smaller cracks to the side. There are restored cracks to the front of base. There is typical wear and loss to gilding and dry-lacquer.
