each of double-ogee shape, painted on the exterior with two dragons amongst clouds, one with head turned sharply back, the interior with a leaping dragon medallion, six-character seal mark in underglaze blue (2)
Provenance
Collection of George Willets Davison (1871-1953), thence by descent and gifted to the present owner.
Condition
One has a very shallow 1/8 in. (4 mm.) chip to the upper rim edge, and a minor discolored glaze pull to the edge of the foot.
The other has several very small burst air bubbles around the inner edge of the rim.
