of flattened baluster form, carved with sprays of leafy stems bearing lotus blossoms radiating from a ring in the center, the waisted neck flanked with foliate handles supporting lotus buds, the lustrous stone with some opaque inclusions, fissures and russet coloration, stand (2)

Condition

There are a number of minute nicks around the mouth and foot rims and a fissure near the base on one side has been incorporated into the design.
