the flattened body tapering down towards a narrow waisted foot, carved in high relief around the midsection with a band of stylized archaistic scrolling kuilong, between two further confronted chilong above a lotus lappet border around the foot and pendent leaves around the neck, flanked by two elephant-head handles suspending loose rings, the cover with a band of ruyi scroll below the dragon finial, the edges of the rim, cover and foot encircled by key-fret borders, wood stand (3)

Collection of Katherine Berwind to Margaret Berwind Cox in 1946 and thence by descent.
Condition
There are a few minor nicks around the mouth rim, the outer and inner rim of the cover. There are a few fissure lines in the vase, and some areas of russet inclusions.
