the rectangular top comprised of boards within a mitered frame with everted ends supported by cusped foliate spandrels and above twin drawers faced by beaded and shaped panels, surmounting a plain rectangular panel with molded edges, the scrolling apron below carved foliate motifs, supported on four legs of circular section

Condition
The coffer is comprised of different woods and with multiple repairs particularly along the front apron and side brackets. Both everted flanges with spliced additions and one with a filled repair. There a small missing section of the corner of one of the top panels. the joins have been consolidated with glue. The surface with expected wear and some staining.
