Condition
Overall the condition of the wood is good. There is some wear and dirt to the surface consistent with age. There is some worming to the surface consistant with material, particularly around the sleeves and back of the head. There are a few minor losses including to the edges of the mitre, two fingers on the proper right hand, the thumb on the other and the right leg of the ox on the right. Three sections of wood have been inserted to stabilise the base. There are two drilled holes and two large incised marks to the reverse.
