Condition

Overall the condition of the pewter is good with minor dirt and wear to the surface consistent with age and handling. The lip and foot of the ewer are slightly bent. There are a few slight casting flaws and there are slightly open fissures under the two upper moulded bands on the belly of the vessel. There is wear to the patina, including at the moulded bands. There may be a few small restorations to the belly.
