Condition

There is wear, rubbing and dirt to the surface consistent with age and handling. There is stable hairline splitting throughout the surface with a larger split running along the body of St. John. The ivory is stained throughout. There are a few minor chips. There is a rough area to the reverse where the root canal ran with some scratching. There are two later losses to the surface on the reverse.
