- Pair of heraldic griffons

Condition
Overall the condition of the terracotta is good. There is wear and some dirt to the surface consistent with age. There are several looses to the paint and minor chips along the edges including to the wingtips, the corners of the bases and the proper right ear of the figure looking over its proper right shoulder. The same griffon has some black pigment to its proper left haunch. There is a restoration to the abdomen of the figure looking over its proper left shoulder. The same griffon has an area with firing cracks around the neck consistent with material.
