Overall the condition is good with dirt and wear to the surface consistent wiht age. There is veining throughout including to the hands, the fan, the front of the dress, the back of the hat and the back of the girl's body. There are a number of small losses including the tip of the ribbon at the back. There is a loss to the bottom of the pendant. There are a few small chips to the edges of the hat and there may be some small losses to the girl's ringlets and lace vest. There are also a few small losses to the foliage and ground. The proper left thumb appears to be reattached. There are some larger chips to the edges of the socle.
