The album contains McNamara's 2-page typescript agenda on Department of Defense letterhead dated 24 November regarding JFK's funeral procession, annotated in McNamara's hand and one other; admission ticket to the memorial service at St. Matthew's Cathedral and 5 additional memorial service programs; a memorial card encased in lucite; a broadside by John Kenneth Galbraith being a tribute to JFK, inscribed by Galbraith to McNamara; a 5-page photocopy of a eulogy; one pre-assassination newspaper clipping; 4 newspaper clippings regarding JFK's assassination; Presidential Medals of Freedom program (pamphlet); JFK's 1963  posthumous Thanksgiving Proclamation, invitation to the White House for Mrs. McNamara dated September 1963;  several articles on JFK removed from Newsweek, Life, and Look magazines (one complete issue of Newsweek). Housed in a gilt leather portfolio; some scratches to album.
