Catalogue Note

Both works were first published in 1575. The second work, sometimes also attributed to Turberville, is actually an adaptation by George Gascoigne of  La VĂ©nerie, by Jacques du Fouilloux (1573). The plates were reused from the 1575 edition, with those on F6r and I3r altered so that James I replaced Elizabeth I.
