Catalogue Note

One of the scarcest of Joyce's primary works.

First edition of this review that Joyce wrote when he was eighteen, of Ibsen's When We Dead Awaken; it first appeared in the Fortnightly Review, April 1, 1900. An indeterminate number of press copies were also printed, with a "Press Copy" stamp incorporated into the colophon.
