Provenance

Acquired in Paris between the 1970s and the early 90s.

Condition

The cover is slightly warped. The hasp of the chest and the object in the left hand of the boy on the cover are missing. There are a few cracks around the swastika opening on the cover. There are also some expected scratches and wear to the lacquer and gilt decoration, as well as minor tarnishing to the bronze. The overall condition is otherwise quite good.
