Description

the lustrous stone of an even creamy white tone, deftly carved in openwork on both sides with a slender sinuous dragon, with a sleek body terminating in a bifurcated tail, intertwining around a square frame, in pursuit of a 'flaming pearl' amongst scrolling clouds

Provenance

Acquired in Paris between the 1970s and the early 90s.

Condition

The overall condition is very good with the exception of a tiny nick to the tip of one horn of the dragon.
