the animal crouching with its front paws stretched under the head and its hind legs tucked along its flanks, its bushy tail curling over its left haunch, pierced through the centre of its back with a small aperture for suspension, the translucent celadon stone streaked with dark brown inclusions

Provenance

Acquired in Paris between the 1970s and the early 90s.

Condition

There are some pits to the calcified surface. Otherwise, the jade is in overall very good condition. The stone has patches of deep brown inclusions. The actual colour is very similar to the catalogue illustration.
