Condition

In overall good condition. Some minor scratches including one near one handle inside the bowl. Legible marks on the outside border. Nice embossing quality.

Catalogue Note

Alexander Krauti (Kraudy) was born on 4 November 1651. He became a master goldsmith and a citizen of Banská Bystrica and died in 1679. Five apprentices, including his son, Paul (who was born in 1670), trained in his workshop.
