Condition

In overall good condition, one dent, bright gilding inside, possibly regilt. Marks clear with assay scrape under one handle. Nice quality.

Catalogue Note

Georg Siebenbürger was born at Ingolstadt around 1545. He became a master goldsmith in 1570 and married Helene Fend a year later. Between 1558 and 1593 and 1602 and 1602 he held positions on the court of the local goldsmiths’ guild. He died in 1617.
