In overall good condition. Legible marks under the base and on cover rim. Assay scrape under the base.

Catalogue Note

Johann Daniel Schäffler (Scheffler) I was born in Dresden in 1659. After finishing his training in 1687 he moved to Augsburg and became a master in 1701. He died in 1727 having married four times.
