Catalogue Note

Hendrik Kramer was born in 1700, the son of a hotelier, Bastian Kramer, and his wife, Maria Metting.  He became a master in 1729 and married Pieternella Palm the same year.  He had two sons, Johannes Pieter and Pieter. Both became silversmiths. Hendrik Kramer died in 1762.
