the first, the base and hinged lid cast with mythological vignettes within rococo borders, maker's mark BAB a sun, Blois, 1739-1740, 7.6cm, 3in wide, 101.8gr, 3oz 4dwt ; the other inset with ivory panel on hinged lid carved with an equestrian battle scene, another on the underside similarly decorated with a military trophy, possibly German, circa 1730, 6.8cm, 2 7/8 in wide
