Catalogue Note
Johann Christoph Jancke I was born in Breslau. He became a master on 6 July 1746 and, a few days later, a citizen. He married Anna Scholtze in 1747 and died in 1780. His son, Johann Christoph Jancke II followed his father as a goldsmith, becoming a master in 1781.
