circular, the first lobed with applied cast scroll handles; the second plain, with applied beaded openwork lug handles, also struck with 1807 and 1814-1831 control marks

Johann Ludwig Biller I, son of goldsmith Lorenz Biller I, was born in Augsburg in 1656. He became a master goldsmith in 1684 and married the same year. He married a second time in 1715. He was elected as head of the local guild of goldsmiths from 1707 to 1709 and died in 1732.
