Catalogue Note

Isaac Beaucaire II was born in 1723, became a master goldsmith in 1753, and married Berlin-born Marianne Romion in 1755. He was Zeichenmeister of his guild from 1778 until 1785, and was appointed court goldsmith in 1784. He had five apprentices from 1756 to 1774 and died in 1793.
