Condition

This work is in good condition overall. The board is hinged on the reverse to the backing board at the corners. There is some scattered surface soiling and accretions throughout, likely due to the artistÂ’s working method. There is pale time staining to the paperboard. The surface of the pigment is very textured, due to the artistÂ’s working method. There are a few minor, pin-point areas of pigment in the highest areas of relief that have been somewhat flattened, due to previous framing. There is evidence of oil residue surrounding the heavily pigmented areas due to the artist's choice of medium. Framed under glass.
