Condition

This work is in very good condition overall. There is evidence of light wear and handling to the edges, resulting in one minor spot of paint loss along the right edge, and one spot at the upper left edge. There are some dust accretions that are in the top layer of the paint and appear to be inherent to the artist's working method. Under Ultraviolet light inspection, there is no evidence of restoration. Framed.

Catalogue Note

"...I like the really human sides of people. To meet them and see that they're complicated and weird or shy or any of those things sort of makes it even better-to know that they can rise above that and make something great." - Elizabeth Peyton
