Condition

This work is in good condition overall. There is evidence of very fine craquelure towards the bottom left of the painting, and the canvas is buckling slightly at the upper and lower right corners. There are scattered areas of paint loss, particularly along the upper edge and at bottom center of the painting, as visible in the catalogue illustration. Under Ultraviolet light inspection, there is no evidence of restoration. Framed.
