Condition
Colour:
The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate, although the overall tonality is slightly warmer and richer in the original.
Condition:
This work is in very good condition. There is minor wear to the top and bottom right corner tips and scattered intermittent wear along the top and right extreme edges. There is a light handling mark on the left extreme edge towards the top corner. There are fine drying cracks in some of the darkest areas of brown pigment in the lower centre of the composition. No restoration is apparent when examined under ultra-violet light.
