Condition
Colour:
The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate, although the overall tonality is brighter and more vibrant in the original. The illustration fails to fully convey the reflective shimmer of the silver paint.
Condition:
This work is in very good condition. There is some light rubbing towards the lower left corner, a faint horizontal rub mark centre-right in the lower half of the composition and a further fine and faint diagonal rub mark towards the top left corner on the top extreme edge. There is some very light, superficial dirt on the white pigment of the house. No restoration is apparent when examined under ultra-violet light.
