Condition

Colour: The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate; although the white tends towards an off-white in the original work. Condition: This work is in good condition. The sheet is hinged to the backing mount at intervals on the reverse. The edges are uneven, and the sheet has some undulation, pale media splashes and light creasing throughout which appears original. There are further original tape residues to the top and left edges, and to the top right corner. On very close examination there is some light bubbling and lifting to the thicker patches of black pigment, some of which are touching the glass. Light surface dust fibres are adhering to some areas of black pigment.
