The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate, although the overall tonality is deeper and richer in the original.
Condition:
This work is in very good condition. The sheet is attached to a backing board at intervals on the reverse. There are artist's pin holes in all four corners, a few scattered pin holes along the top edge and three further pin holes at the tips of the blue outline. The sheet undulates slightly and there are a few scattered handling creases, artist's handling marks and light spots of media accretions in places, in keeping with the artist's working process.
