Colour:
The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate, although the yellow appears richer and deeper in the original. The catalogue illustration fails to fully convey the three-dimensional elements in the original work.
Condition:
This work is in very good condition. On very close inspection, there are a few extremely short, fine and isolated cracks scattered in places throughout the thicker areas of paint. Some light and superficial dust fibres have collected over time in the recessed areas of the three dimensional elements. No restoration is apparent when examined under ultra-violet light.
