Condition

Colour: The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate. Condition: This work is in very good condition. There is very light wear to all four corners. There are a small number of light creases to the surface on the right half of the compostion. Examination under ultra-violet light reveals a number of small surface deposits which fluoresce as pale white spots and also small spots and thin lines which fluoresce darkly and appear to be small retouchings. These are in the lower third of the composition.
