Condition

Colour: The catalogue illustration is fairly accurate; although the brown is more uniform throughout the original work. Condition: This work is in very good condition. There is some light wear with associated paint lost to all four corners of the white framing element, and intermittently along all four extreme edges as well as a small number of fine cracks to the white framing element in places. Over time, some superficial dust has accumulated along the lower edge of the work between the canvas and the framing element. No restoration is apparent when examined under ultra-violet light.
"In response to your inquiry, we are pleased to provide you with a general report of the condition of the property described above. Catalogue Note

"In the Teatrini it is possible to achieve a sort of contemporary unity between image, object, material and that 'philosophical' state to which the artist often draws attention as the new idea. The man in space is alone, alone facing infinity."
