Condition
Colour:
The colours is the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate, although the backing sheet tends more towards ivory in the original.
Condition:
This work is in very good condition. The sheet is hinged to the backing mount at all four corners on the reverse. There is a halo of residual media, echoing the shape of the grease area, adhering to the inside of the framing glass. In a few isolated places there are scattered specks of discolouration, notably to the lower margin of the sheet. There are several media accretions and tiny surface irregularities scattered in a few places throughout, which are likely to be inherent to the artist’s working process. The lower left extreme corner tip is lifting slightly.
