Condition
Colour:
The colour in the cataouge illustration are fairly accurate, although the overall tonality is richer and warmer in the original.
Condition:
This work is in very good condition. There is minor wear to all four corners tips and very fine hairline tension cracks running intermittantly along all four extreme overturn edges. On close inspection, there are a few small spots of loss: one to the middle of the lower extreme edge, one 10cm above this, and a further loss towards the top left hand corner. There are two fine and short rubs with associated minor loss towards the centre of the top right quadrant. There are drying cracks in places throughout, notibaly to the pigment in the centre of the composition. No restoration is apparent when examined under ultra-violet light.
