Condition
Colour:
The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate, although there are more blue/grey tones throughout the white pigment in the original. The catalogue illustration fails to convey the rich impasto paint apparent in the original.
Condition:
This work is in very good condition. There is a light rub in top left corner and to the centre of the left edge. Upon very close inspection, there are a few scattered hairline cracks throughout. There is a spot of surface loss to the blue pigment at the centre of the lower edge. No restoration is apparent when examined under ultra-violet light.
