Condition
Colour:
The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate, although the overall tonality is warmer in the original.
Condition:
This work is in very good condition. There are artist’s pin holes in all four corners and at the centre of the top edge. The sheet is attached to the backing mount at all four corners and in the centre of the two vertical edges, with associated undulation. There is further light undulation in places and a shallow diagonal crease in the top left hand quadrant. Upon close inspection there is a short tear above centre on the extreme left edge and a tiny nick above the centre of the right extreme edge. There is some light residue around the edges of some of the painted areas, inherent to the artist’s choice of medium.
